For engineering teams · VS Code & web

Give your engineers every model. Keep control of the spend.

A VS Code extension and web app for engineering teams. The model that is actually good at each job, a budget per engineer, and no per-seat licences.

Beta · No per-seat fee · Budget per engineer · No training on your content

For your developers

Built for work on real repositories

01

Codebase-aware answers

ApiSky indexes the repository you are working in, so questions are answered against your actual code rather than generic examples.

02

Multi-step tasks

Describe a change and ApiSky plans it, edits across files, and shows you every modification for approval before anything is written.

03

Curated, not a catalogue

Models arrive switched off. We turn on the ones that earn it and match each to the work it does well — a judgement, not a catalogue.

04

Editor or browser

The SkyCoder extension inside VS Code, or the web app. Same models, same budgets, same organization behind both.

How it works

Nothing is written without your approval

Describe the change

Ask a question or describe the work in plain language, in the panel beside your code.

ApiSky plans and edits

It reads the files it needs, plans the change, and edits across as many files as the task requires.

You review every diff

Each modification is shown for approval before anything is written to disk.

Built for teams

Set a budget per engineer, then see where it goes

You buy one balance for the organization and decide how much of it each engineer may spend. Nobody can quietly run up the bill, and nobody has to ask you for an API key.

01

A budget per engineer

Every member gets a spending budget for the period you choose — $200 a month by default, or whatever figure you set. Work stops when it is reached, so a runaway task cannot drain the balance.

02

They ask, you approve

An engineer who needs more than their budget raises a request from inside the app. An administrator approves or declines it — no one is left blocked and no one is handed an open-ended limit.

03

Roles, and a per-member ledger

Owner, admin, lead and developer, each with what they need and nothing more. See what every member spent, on which day, and on which model.

04

Use your own provider keys

Point your organization at your own provider account if you would rather buy tokens directly. Keys are held in an encrypted vault, never in a repository or a config file. With your own provider keys you pay that provider for tokens; we charge cycles only.

Your code and your IP

Your code stays yours

Not used for training

ApiSky does not train AI models, and does not use your content to train anyone's. Vercel and Fireworks run with zero data retention on our account. What each provider does is governed by their own terms.

You own the output

You keep ownership of the code you submit and of the code ApiSky generates for you. We claim no rights in either. See the Terms of Service.

What is a cycle?

You give ApiSky a task; it splits the work into steps, and each step it finishes is one cycle. A simple task is one cycle. In a long chat, each time ApiSky clears its working memory is also a cycle.

Exactly what counts

Technically, a cycle is counted each time the assistant finishes a thread (end_thread), clears its context (spawn), or completes a task (done). Cycles are charged when they end, never when they start.

Charged in United States Dollars. Purchases carry a 5% platform fee, plus applicable taxes where required. Credits are used oldest first. Each purchase expires 12 months after it was made, and any part of it still unused then is forfeited. Model usage is charged at a rate based on the provider's list price, which changes when the provider changes it; the current rate is shown in the app before a task runs. See our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

Payments and security

How you are charged, and by whom

Payments are handled by Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified payment processor. ApiSky never receives or stores your card details — card data is sent directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

On your statement

Charges appear on your statement as APISKY.
